Thought of an interesting stumbling block –
For this current stage of the project I’m modifying a disposable camera and using black and white film, which as standard doesn’t come in ISO 800, unless someone’s not telling me something.
I’ve got some ISO 400 film which should do for now, one stop out isn’t anything too serious.
Something to bare in mind though…
This morning I decided to do a digital dry run of the processing that’ll be required for the ‘colour photographs using black and white film’ gizmo I’m making.
I know it’s digital and thus cheating etc. etc. but it gives me and idea of what to expect and also lets me work out the photoshop process required, so:
Thanks to the lovely folks over at Snappy Snaps Hampstead I’ve had the opportunity to play around with a fair few disposable cameras this last few days. It’s been rather interesting dissembling them, I’ve so far stuck to the Kodak Funsaver as these seem to be fairly easy to find and they’re moderately easy to take apart.
Been considering this project for a little while and now there’s an instructable contest I rather think it’s time to get moving…
I’ve got till 18th of June, let’s go!
